Luís Pipa is a Portuguese classical pianist and composer, born in 1960 in Figueira da Foz. He pursued his musical studies at the Conservatoires of Braga and Porto, graduating in 1982. Pipa is also a professor of piano and chamber music at the University of Minho. His recent releases showcase a diverse repertoire, including works by Beethoven, Mozart, and lesser-known composers like Óscar da Silva and Vianna da Motta. His discography reflects a commitment to exploring both classical staples and lesser-known pieces, highlighting his versatility as a pianist.
