Martin Hall is a Danish singer, musician, and author born on April 26, 1963. He began his musical career at a young age, starting his training at the Piano and Music Academy of Copenhagen at ten. His first record release was at seventeen with the avant-garde ensemble Ballet Mécanique, whose debut album *The Icecold Waters of the Egocentric Calculation* (1981) is considered a cornerstone in Danish music history. Throughout his career, Hall has explored a wide range of genres, from industrial to neo-classical music. He has also been involved in various artistic endeavors, including writing and directing multimedia performances and designing his own record and book covers. Hall received a prestigious three-year grant as a composer from The National Fund for the Endowment of The Arts in 1995 and has collaborated with numerous artists across different disciplines.
