Ray Carlisle

Ray Carlisle is best known as the frontman for the Wyoming-based punk rock band Teenage Bottlerocket. Formed in 2000 with his twin brother Brandon Carlisle (who sadly passed away in 2015), Ray's distinctive vocals and catchy songwriting have been a cornerstone of the band's sound. He's the primary songwriter and guitarist, crafting anthemic punk tunes about everyday life, often with a humorous and self-deprecating twist.

Beyond Teenage Bottlerocket, Ray has also explored other musical avenues, including a country-tinged solo project. This showcases a different side of his songwriting, revealing a knack for storytelling and a deeper emotional resonance while still retaining his signature wit. He continues to tour and record with Teenage Bottlerocket, keeping the spirit of fast, fun, and energetic punk rock alive.
