Lassi Valtonen

Lassi Valtonen is a Finnish singer born on July 14, 1990, in Joutseno, Finland. He first gained national attention as a contestant on the fifth season of the Finnish "Idols" in 2011, where he reached the semifinals but left the competition before the live shows began. Following his "Idols" stint, Lassi launched his music career with the release of his debut album *Kukin tyylillään* in October 2011, which reached number ten on the Finnish album chart and eventually earned gold status. Known for his pop and rock style, he released his second album, *Kasvottomat päivät*, in 2016, continuing to build his presence in the Finnish music scene. Before his singing career, Lassi was a drummer in rock bands and had previously tried out for "Idols" back in 2006.

Lassi has faced personal challenges, including battling Crohn’s disease, which has affected his performance schedule. He currently lives in Tampere, where he studies media and continues to create music, collaborating with bands like Tentacle Pillow. His recent work includes singles and live EPs such as "Kultakuume," "Sosiaalinen panttivanki," and "Pitäjän järkeni," showcasing his evolving sound and dedication to music despite health challenges.
