Vladimir Lande

Vladimir Lande is a Russian-American conductor, oboist, and pianist. He serves as the Music Director and Conductor of the Siberian State Symphony Orchestra in Krasnoyarsk, Russia. Lande has had a distinguished career, conducting major orchestras such as the St. Petersburg State Symphony, Novosibirsk Philharmonic, and the Baltimore Symphony. He has also led tours across Central and South America, the United States, South Korea, and Europe. Notably, he conducted a 24-concert "Tour of the Americas" with the St. Petersburg State Symphony in 2011, performing at prestigious venues like New York's Alice Tully Hall and Boston's Symphony Hall. Lande is recognized for his critically acclaimed recordings, including works by Schubert, Respighi, and contemporary composers, earning him awards like the Clef d’Or Global Music Award and the Award of the German Classical Music Critics Association.

Lande is also known for his work in contemporary music, having recorded over 30 CDs of contemporary compositions. He collaborates with leading soloists and has conducted a wide range of repertoire, including symphonic, opera, and ballet works. His recent projects include recording cycles of notable composers and launching video recording series like "Concerts from the Palaces of St. Petersburg" for Naxos.
