The African Children's Choir is a group of young singers from Uganda who have been performing around the world since 1984. The choir was founded by Ray Barnett, a Canadian music producer who was inspired by the resilience and talent of the children he met in Uganda. The choir has performed for audiences of all ages, including presidents, popes, and celebrities. They have also released several albums, including "Just as I Am" and "Emmanuel God with Us an African Christmas." The choir's mission is to use music to bring hope and healing to children in Africa. They do this by providing music education and performance opportunities to children from disadvantaged backgrounds. The choir also works to raise awareness of the challenges facing children in Africa and to advocate for their rights.
