Big Business is an American heavy metal and sludge rock band that has been distorting the boundaries of heavy music since its inception in 2003. Formed in Seattle, Washington, by bassist and vocalist Jared Warren and drummer Coady Willis, the group quickly garnered attention for its thunderous riffs, colossal rhythm section, and dynamic live performances. Their sound is a blend of aggressive metal underpinned by punk's raw energy, marked by Warren's distinct vocal style and the pulverizing drum work of Willis.

Big Business released their debut album, "Head for the Shallow," in 2005, under the Hydra Head Records label, heralding their arrival on the heavy music scene with a powerful and uncompromising sound. They continued to expand their reach with subsequent albums, notably "Here Come the Waterworks" in 2007 and "Mind the Drift" in 2009, showcasing a capacity for evolving sonically while maintaining their foundational intensity. The duo later became a trio with the temporary inclusion of guitarist Toshi Kasai for the recording of "Battlefields Forever" in 2013. After this release, they returned to their original two-member format, and in the years to follow, they continued to impress fans and critics alike with the albums "Command Your Weather" in 2016 and "The Beast You Are" in 2019, a testament to their relentless pursuit of creative growth and their mastery of the metal genre.
