John Lodge
John Lodge is the legendary bassist, vocalist, and songwriter best known as a cornerstone of The Moody Blues, the British rock band that pioneered symphonic prog-rock in the 1960s and '70s. A key architect of their iconic "Days of Future Passed" album (1967), Lodge co-wrote classics like "Ride My See-Saw" and "I'm Just a Singer (In a Rock and Roll Band)." Beyond the Moodies, he’s maintained a dynamic solo career since the '70s, dropping albums like "Natural Avenue" (1977) and recent gems such as "10,000 Light Years Ago" (2015) and "B Yond" (2021). His 2023 live releases, including *Live from Birmingham: The 10,000 Light Years Tour* and fresh takes on Moody Blues staples, prove he’s still got that cosmic energy. A Rock & Roll Hall of Famer (2018), Lodge keeps bridging eras with new music like *In These Crazy Times* while celebrating his legacy as a linchpin of melodic, introspective rock.
