Corpus Offal

Corpus Offal is an Austin, Texas-based death metal band formed from the remnants of Cerebral Rot. The band includes guitarist/vocalist Ian Schwab (ex-Demoncy), guitarist Clyle Lindstrom (Fetid, Caustic Wound, ex-Cerebral Rot), bassist Jason Sachs (ex-Demoncy), and drummer Jesse Shreibman (Bell Witch, Autophagy). Their music is characterized by a heavy, swampy sound reminiscent of their predecessors, with tracks like "Ripened Psychosis" and "Gorging Gastric Decedent" showcasing their ability to blend brutality with catchy rhythms.

In 2024, Corpus Offal released a demo featuring two tracks, which served as a precursor to their debut self-titled album. This full-length album, released on March 21, 2025, via 20 Buck Spin, includes seven tracks and was recorded at Jackpot Recording Studio/Everything Hz, engineered by Billy Anderson, and mastered by Dan Lowndes. The album artwork was created by Karina Monzon and Dan Fried. With this debut, Corpus Offal continues the legacy of Cerebral Rot while forging their own path in the death metal scene.
