Alterium

Alterium is an Italian power metal band formed in late 2022, featuring experienced musicians including vocalist Nicoletta Rosellini (formerly of Kalidia and Walk in Darkness), guitarists Paolo Campitelli and Alessandro Mammola, bassist Luca Scalabrin, and drummer Dario Gozzi. The band emerged with a fresh take on power metal and released their debut album *Of War and Flames* in March 2024 via AFM Records. Produced by Lars Rettkowitz of Freedom Call, the album blends catchy choruses, dynamic vocals, powerful guitar riffs, and grandiose choirs, including a notable cover of Sabaton’s “Bismarck”.

Nicoletta Rosellini leads Alterium not only as a singer but also as a key songwriter, bringing thematic depth with lyrics inspired by battle, mythology, and biblical tales. Their careful release strategy of singles from 2023 onwards generated strong online traction, earning hundreds of thousands of views and a growing fanbase across streaming platforms before the full album launch. The band’s sound is characterized by epic, energetic power metal with both melodic and anthemic qualities, positioning them as rising stars in the genre with a dedicated following.
