Berliner Symphoniker

The Berliner Symphoniker (Berlin Symphony Orchestra) is a German orchestra based in Berlin. Founded in 1967, it emerged from the merger of two independent orchestras. The ensemble initially performed under the name Symphonisches Orchester Berlin until 1990, when it adopted its current name. Over the years, the orchestra has been led by several notable conductors, including Lior Shambadal, who served as chief conductor from 1996 to 2019. The Berliner Symphoniker has toured extensively, performing in various countries across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
