The BlackSon

The BlackSon is a writer, rapper, poet and producer from Nashville, Tennessee. He co-founded the Black City artist collective, which has become an important part of Nashville's hip-hop scene. The BlackSon got his start as a teenager participating in Southern Word, a youth organization focused on spoken word poetry. This experience helped shape his artistic path, as he began putting his poems over beats and developing his skills as a rapper and performer.
