Andrea Battistoni is a renowned Italian conductor born in Verona in 1987. He has gained international recognition as one of the most promising conductors of his generation. Battistoni made history by becoming the youngest conductor to debut at Milan's Teatro alla Scala in 2012, at the age of 24, with Mozart's *Le nozze di Figaro*. He has held significant positions, including First Guest Conductor at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa from 2014 to 2016 and Principal Conductor of the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra since 2016.
