John Alexander Ericson is a Swedish musician known for his contributions to the alternative rock scene. Born on March 27, 1972, in Uppsala, he is the son of musician and producer Peter R. Ericson. Ericson was also part of the electronic music project **The Northern Territories**, which he co-founded in 1992 with Stefan Sääf. The group initially focused on synthpop but later incorporated more guitar influences into their music. Following the disbanding of The Northern Territories, Ericson embarked on a solo career, releasing albums such as *Songs For Quiet Souls* (2004), *Savannah Songs* (2005), and *Songs From The White Sea* (2010).
As a solo artist, Ericson has explored a range of musical styles, reflecting his versatility and creativity. His recent releases, such as *Berlin Lullabies* and *The Man In White EP*, continue to showcase his evolving musical journey. Despite transitioning from electronic to more diverse rock influences, Ericson remains rooted in his alternative rock background.
