Azikazin Magic World is a super cool four-member digital band and multimedia creative collective hailing from South Korea, blending lo-fi music with puppetry, stop-motion animation, games, and visuals for that full-on immersive vibe. They loosely came together in 2018 with Kiho Song (stop-motion animator and filmmaker), Jeongyeon Park (aka Lionclad, beatmaker and art director), Hyeongmuk Kang (aka Mmddyyyy, musician), and Sanghwan Shin (aka Fidi, cinematographer), but really hit their stride after snagging a basement studio in 2019—everyone pitches in on beats, lyrics, animation, and more, like a squad of shape-shifting robots creating their own "magic world."
What makes them stand out is their love for vintage, fuzzy gear—like a 1991 keyboard and a salvaged old camcorder—paired with homemade puppets to bring tracks like *Memory Overdrive*, *Hotel Room*, *Spaceship for Bad Dreams*, and *Passing Tourists* to life in visual albums that feel like nostalgic adventures. They're all about that unconstrained fun in the studio, dropping full-length albums like the upcoming *Memory Overdrive* in early 2026 while gigging at spots like The Wall Live House.
