Rovshan Mamedkuliev

Rovshan Mamedkuliev is a prominent classical guitarist known for his virtuosic technique and emotionally rich performances. Born on February 1, 1986 in Nakhchivan, Azerbaijan, he inherited his passion for music from his family; his grandfather was a musician and his mentor. He began learning guitar at the age of 11. Mamedkuliev pursued a rigorous musical education, studying at the Azerbaijan National Conservatory and subsequently at the Moscow State Conservatory with the esteemed professor Aleksey Nasedkin, where he honed his masterful technique and deep musicality.

Rovshan Mamedkuliev has gained international acclaim by winning numerous competitions, including the prestigious Guitar Foundation of America (GFA) competition in 2012. Mamedkuliev's discography reflects his wide-ranging musical interests, with works from both classical and modern composers.
