Chitarisiro Chiketa, better known as MC Chita, is a Zimbabwean rapper with a rich background in hip-hop. Born on April 9, 1983, he is the son of a Zimbabwean diplomat, Steven Chiketa, who was an ambassador to New York. MC Chita began his music career in the early 2000s, first gaining recognition with an appearance on Brown Sugar's album "Running Laps" in 2003. He has since become a respected figure in Zimbabwean hip-hop, known for his fluid flow and braggadocious style. Over the years, he has released several notable albums and singles, including "Destination Reality" in 2004 and "263-4: The Hustle, The Struggle and The Life." MC Chita has collaborated with artists from various countries such as Canada, the USA, South Africa, and Zambia, and has also ventured into writing, announcing a drama novel titled "The Sangoma Murders" in 2015.
