Young-Holt Unlimited was a soul-jazz and R&B instrumental group formed in the 1960s by bassist Eldee Young and drummer Isaac "Red" Holt, both former members of the Ramsey Lewis Trio. Their music blended jazz, funk, and pop influences, often featuring groovy rhythms and catchy melodies. They are best known for their 1968 hit "Soulful Strut," a smooth, horn-driven track that became a classic of the era. The group continued recording throughout the late '60s and '70s, delivering a range of soulful, feel-good instrumentals.
