Mystica Tribe

Mystica Tribe is the musical alias of Tokyo-based producer Taka Noda. Drawing on a wide range of influences, including dub, soul, bass music, rhythm and blues, Mystica Tribe crafts a distinctive sound that blends dub and techno with deep, psychedelic elements. His music is equally suited for late-night listening sessions or energized dancefloors. Notable releases include the "Lizard EP," "Flowers," and "Stars Are Mine," which have garnered support from artists like Gilles Peterson and 2562. In 2014, Noda launched his own label, Mystica Tribe Records, to continue developing his unique psychedelic take on dub and techno.

Mystica Tribe's music often features a blend of heavy, psychedelic warehouse techno and beautifully orthodox reggae-infused dubwise tracks. His approach to music production is likened to a "virtual live band," capturing the energy of live performances with a focus on melody and rhythm. His work has been released on labels such as SD Records, Solar Phenomena, Silent Season, and his own Mystica Tribe Records.
