Hidden In Plain View is a post-hardcore/emo band from New Jersey that broke into the early 2000s alternative scene with an energetic blend of melodic hooks and emotionally driven lyrics. Formed in 2000, the band gained a following through constant touring and a strong presence on Drive-Thru Records, alongside other scene favorites of the time. Their debut full-length album, Life In Dreaming, released in 2005, became a fan favorite and highlighted their knack for combining intimate songwriting with anthemic choruses.
The group disbanded in 2007 but reunited in 2013, much to the delight of longtime fans. Since then, they’ve released new music including EPs and singles like "Animal," "Temper," and "Tantrums," continuing to evolve their sound while staying true to the emotive roots that earned them a loyal following. Hidden In Plain View remains a beloved name among early 2000s emo and post-hardcore enthusiasts.
