Alison Mosshart

Alison Mosshart is a dynamo in the rock music scene, best known for her lead vocals in The Kills and as a part of the supergroup The Dead Weather. Originating from Vero Beach, Florida, Mosshart's musical journey began in the mid-90s with the punk band Discount, but it was her move to London and partnership with guitarist Jamie Hince that led to the formation of The Kills in 2000. Their raw, garage rock sound, infused with Mosshart's distinctive, sultry vocals, quickly garnered international acclaim.

In addition to her work with The Kills, Mosshart's versatile talent shines in The Dead Weather, a project initiated with Jack White of The White Stripes, Jack Lawrence of The Raconteurs, and Dean Fertita of Queens of the Stone Age in 2009. Her solo projects and contributions to other artists' works, as seen in the releases like "It Ain't Water," "Rise," and her haunting cover of "What a Wonderful World" from "Sons of Anarchy," reveal her depth and range as an artist. Allison Mosshart's enduring impact on the alternative rock scene is marked by her fearless creativity and relentless innovation.
