Kos Atos is a keroncong music group formed on February 27, 2014, in Malang, East Java, Indonesia. The group emerged from a musical community within the Universitas Negeri Malang campus. Kos Atos combines traditional keroncong with contemporary genres, aiming to preserve and innovate this musical style. Their career highlights include releasing their debut album "Luta" in 2016, followed by "Local Heroes" in 2019, which was notable for using 360° technology. In 2023, they released their sixth album, "Orkes Is Dead," which critiques the current state of orchestral music while exploring themes of sadness and joy. Kos Atos has been active in various national events and has collaborated with other musicians from Malang.
Kos Atos' recent releases include "Hei Kawan," "Orkes Is Dead," "Live at Kopi Koopen Ijen," "Langkah Baru," "Local Heroes," "Esok Lagi," and "Luta." The group's members include Fajar Sandy on guitar, Risandy Eka Nugraha on bass, Mukti Irianto on vocals, Vigil Kristologus on drums, Krisna Satria Winata on the cuk, and Eka Catra. They have been involved in several notable events, such as the Pasar Keroncong Kotagede and the Solo Keroncong Festival.
