His music is known for its epic orchestral sound, which often incorporates elements of electronic music. Trifon has also worked on sound design for films and television shows, including the popular Netflix series Stranger Things.
In addition to his work in the entertainment industry, Trifon is also a passionate educator. He has taught courses on music composition and sound design at several universities, and he is currently the director of the music program at the University of California, Santa Cruz.
