**Warp Chamber** is a **death metal band from Olympia, Washington** that emerged from the Pacific Northwest underground in 2016. The group draws heavy inspiration from classic death metal acts like Morbid Angel, Suffocation, and the obscure Finnish band Timeghoul, blending those influences with a fascination for science fiction and horror across film, video games, and literature. Their sound is characterized by melodic sensibilities paired with brutal riffage and an experimental edge that sets them apart from straightforward old-school death metal.

The band's early years were marked by basement rehearsals and garage recordings across the region. They released their acclaimed *Abdication of the Mind* demo in 2018, followed by their full-length debut *Implements of Excruciation* in 2020 on Profound Lore Records. However, the group disbanded shortly after due to personal challenges, only to reemerge in 2022 with renewed hunger. Since their return, Warp Chamber has expanded their reach with regional tours and appearances at notable festivals including Maryland Deathfest, Infest Edmonton, and Covenant Festival, building a reputation as one of the more compelling voices in the modern "weird old school" death metal movement.
