Mohan Rajan is a talented Tamil lyricist born in 1984 in Valayapatti (or nearby areas like Meikalnaikanpatti), Tamil Nadu, who chased his dreams to Chennai in 2001 hoping to break into the film industry. He sharpened his skills with a master's degree in Tamil literature and media arts from Loyola College, and kicked off his career writing his first hit song for James Vasanthan in *Yathumaagi* (2010), followed by bangers like "Jilla Veettu" from *Easan* and teaming up often with director Sasikumar on tracks for *Sundarapandian* and beyond.
