The Salvation Alley String Band is a bluegrass and Americana group from the Pioneer Valley in Massachusetts. The band's style blends elements of bluegrass, country, and western swing. Members include Ryan McGovern Quinn on vocals, guitar, and banjo; Andy Goulet on pedal steel, theremin, and upright bass; Brandee Simone on vocals, guitar, percussion, and autoharp; Matt Silberstein on upright bass, mandolin, and keys; and Matt Jugenheimer on drums. They have released an album titled "The Salvation Alley String Band presents: 'The Pioneer Valley Rose' and Other Favorites," which they promoted through various shows in the region. The band has also participated in notable music events and competitions, such as the Grand Band Slam.
Former member Brandee Simone has since moved on to collaborate with other musicians, forming a new group with Jim Bliss, Rebecca May-Dubs, and Bob Fay.
