Wayd is a progressive death metal band from Prešov, Slovakia, known for blending death metal with jazz influences. Formed in 1994, the band emerged from the fusion of two local metal bands, MARION and DYSENTERY. Wayd's music is characterized by its experimental and musically rich compositions, combining elements of jazz, death metal, and progressive styles. The band's current lineup includes Drahoš Juřík on bass and vocals, Milan Savko on guitar and vocals, Richard Majer on guitar, and Braňo Kóša on drums.
