Lemon Jelly

Lemon Jelly is a British electronic music duo consisting of Nick Franglen and Fred Deakin. Formed in London in the late '90s, the group is known for its distinctive style that blends various genres such as trip-hop, electronica, and downtempo with a whimsical and often surreal aesthetic. Their music frequently incorporates sampled spoken word and sound clips from diverse sources, creating an eclectic and playful sound signature.

The duo first gained attention with their debut EP, "LemonJelly.ky," in 1999, which earned them critical praise and a dedicated fan base. This success was followed by the album "Lost Horizons" in 2002, showcasing their hit single, "Nice Weather for Ducks," which became a staple of their quirky image and sound. Lemon Jelly further cemented their popularity with the release of their creatively ambitious third album, "'64-'95," in 2005, featuring the energetic "The Shouty Track" and the uplifting "Stay With You." Despite their limited discography, Lemon Jelly has left an indelible mark on the electronic music scene with their innovative approach and visually engaging live performances.
