Cimilli İbo, born Ibrahim Özer on June 15, 1970 in Trabzon, Turkey, was a beloved Turkish singer and musician known for his contributions to Karadeniz (Black Sea) music. He began his musical career in 1988 and continued performing until his death on August 16, 2021 in Istanbul at the age of 51. Cimilli İbo was particularly famous for his 2001 hit "Sibelim" and was skilled in playing traditional instruments like the kemençe (a type of fiddle) and tulum (bagpipes). His music, which often featured energetic horon dance rhythms, made him a popular figure in Turkish folk music circles.
