Apati

Apati was a Swedish depressive black metal band recognized for their melancholic and darkly atmospheric music. The band was formed in 2007 by C9H13N and Obehag, with the aim of exploring the themes of depression, misery, and the nuances of mental illness through their piercing soundscapes. Despite their short-lived career, Apati quickly received attention in the underground metal scene for their emotionally authentic expression and the raw honesty of their lyrical content.

Their discography includes the influential album "Morgondagen Inställd I Brist På Intresse," which translates to "Tomorrow Canceled Due to Lack of Interest," released in 2011. This release, also reissued as "Morgondagen inställd i brist på intresse MMXVIII" in 2018, embodies the height of their creative output, captivating fans with its blend of despair-driven lyrics and black metal's signature brutality, softened by moments of introspective melody. This reissue, alongside "Eufori MMXVIII," reflects a revival of interest in their work and a posthumous appreciation for the haunting beauty Apati managed to craft within their brief existence. Following the tragic passing of band member C9H13N in 2011, Apati disbanded, leaving behind a potent legacy within their genre and a loyal fanbase that finds solace and understanding within their music.
