Homero Francesch

Homero Francesch, born on December 6, 1947, in Montevideo, Uruguay, is a renowned Swiss pianist of Uruguayan descent. He initiated his piano education under Santiago Baranda Reyes in Uruguay. Francesch later pursued his studies in Munich, where he was fortunate enough to receive a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). During his career, he has collaborated with esteemed orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, London Symphony, Vienna Symphony, and the Orchestre National de France. Known for premiering contemporary works, Francesch has also recorded significant pieces, such as Bartók's *Mikrokosmos* and Stravinsky's *Les Noces*.
