Negro Jari, born Mamadou Mbacke Seck Diouf on March 18, 1989, in Seville, Spain, is a hip-hop artist with Senegalese roots. He started rapping at age 11 but began taking music seriously at 17. Negro Jari gained attention for his story of rehabilitation through music after spending time in a juvenile detention center.
In 2013, Negro Jari co-founded the group Poetas Sureños, achieving viral success with their song "Zonas Marginales," which garnered over two million views on YouTube. He released his first solo album, "Un Poeta Urbano," in 2015. Negro Jari has collaborated with various artists and has released multiple singles, EPs, and mixtapes throughout his career.
