Norisley Valladares Gómez, better known as El Noro, is a charismatic Cuban singer and composer who leads the band Primera Clase. Born in Matanzas, Cuba, El Noro is largely self-taught in music, having originally studied graphic design before dedicating himself fully to his musical career starting around 2003. Over the years, he built his reputation and honed his craft by performing with major Cuban orchestras such as Doble Impacto, Maykel Blanco y su Salsa Mayor, Manolito Simonet y su Trabuco, and Pupy y Los Que Son Son. In October 2013, he formed his own group, El Noro y Primera Clase, with a fresh and original style blending son, timba, and other Cuban rhythms, showcasing his distinct and elegant voice.
El Noro y Primera Clase released their debut album *Sin Escala* in 2015, which won the Cubadisco award for Best Danceable Popular Music in the Young Talent category. Their sound is characterized by engaging timba rhythms balanced with softer, romantic themes, all composed by El Noro himself. The band, composed of 14 young musicians from various art schools, continues to build on this success with releases like *El Espejo* (2020) and singles such as "A Crédito" featuring Havana D'Primera, blending traditional Cuban music with contemporary energy. El Noro is regarded as one of the promising voices and innovative leaders in the future of Cuban music.
