**ACR (A Certain Ratio)**

Hailing from Manchester's legendary post-punk scene, A Certain Ratio (ACR) has been blending sharp grooves with experimental flair since 1977. Known for their fusion of funk, punk, and electronic textures, these pioneers carved their niche with a DIY ethos and a knack for danceable rhythms. Founding members Jez Kerr (bass/vocals), Martin Moscrop (guitar/trumpet), and Donald Johnson (drums) have kept the band’s spirit alive, evolving through line-up changes while staying true to their raw, percussive sound. Their recent releases like *Dancing on the Floor* and *The Road* (from 2020’s *ACR Loco*) prove they’ve lost none of their edge, mixing wiry guitars with hypnotic beats and spoken-word grit.
