Warfield

Warfield is a German old school thrash metal band formed in 2012 in Kaiserslautern, Germany. The band originally started with guitarist Matthias Clemens, vocalist Johannes Clemens, and drummer Dominik Marx, with bassist Frederik Pütz joining shortly after. Known for their brutal, fast, and aggressive thrash sound inspired by some of Germany's thrash metal legends, Warfield has built a loyal following through energetic live performances and a dedication to the old school thrash ethos. Their debut EP "Call to War" was released in 2014, followed by their full-length album "Wrecking Command" in 2018 via Metal on Metal Records. Over the years, lineup changes have seen the band consolidating into a trio, with Johannes Clemens also handling bass duties since 2018. Warfield continues to write and record new music, recently signing with Napalm Records and releasing singles like "Soul Conqueror," "Tie The Rope," and "With The Old Breed," maintaining their reputation for powerful, uncompromising thrash metal rooted in speed and aggression.

This Warfield should not be confused with American musician Justin Warfield, who announced a new project under the same name in 2025 but is primarily known for his work in hip hop and darkwave music.
