Paulin Bündgen is a French countertenor born in 1977 in Lyon, known for his expertise in early music and classical repertoire. He studied at the Conservatoire national supérieur de musique de Lyon, graduating in 2002, and has since established himself as a renowned soloist and ensemble director. Bündgen founded Ensemble Céladon in 1999, a group specializing in the interpretation of early music, with which he has performed extensively across France and Europe and recorded twelve albums. His collaborations include work with prestigious ensembles like Vox Luminis, Le Concert de l’Hostel Dieu, and Les Paladins, among others.
