Cold Years

Cold Years is an emerging rock band that hails from Aberdeen, Scotland, known for their impassioned brand of heartland rock that combines elements of punk and alternative influences. Formed in 2014, the quartet has steadily built a reputation for their raw lyrical honesty and dynamic, gritty soundscapes that pay homage to the classic rock anthems of the past while forging their own unique path in the modern rock scene. Fronted by lead vocalist and guitarist Ross Gordon, whose husky vocals deliver poignant narratives of personal struggle and resilience, the band is rounded out by members Finlay Urquhart on guitar, Louis Craighead on bass, and Fraser Allan on drums.

Cold Years has made notable strides in cultivating a dedicated fanbase through a succession of compelling releases and energetic live performances. Some of their most impactful tracks include "32," which captures the rush of youthful defiance, and "Life With A View," which delivers an anthemic punch that encapsulates the band's drive to overcome adversity and chase their dreams. Their discography offers a variety of sonic expressions, such as the festive cover "Merry Christmas Everyone," which showcases their versatility and willingness to step outside conventional genre boundaries. With an earnest dedication to their craft, Cold Years continues to capture the hearts of music lovers who crave a raw, authentic rock experience.
