Racing Mount Pleasant

Racing Mount Pleasant is a seven-piece euphoric rock collective from Ann Arbor, Michigan, that emerged from a tight-knit group of friends and musicians who first started making music together as teenagers under the name Kingfisher. Their early work includes the 2022 album *Grip Your Fist, I'm Heaven Bound*. In 2025, they reinvented themselves as Racing Mount Pleasant, debuting with the single “Call It Easy” and announcing a self-titled album that showcases a richly layered and expansive sound blending grand post-rock, indie folk, and chamber pop elements.
