Burning Brides

Burning Brides is an incendiary rock outfit known for their raw energy and gritty sound that gained momentum in the early 2000s. The band was formed in Philadelphia by vocalist and guitarist Dimitri Coats and bassist Melanie Campbell, later joined by drummer Mike Ambs. Their debut album, "Fall of the Plastic Empire," released in 2001, was met with critical acclaim, championed for its dynamic blend of hard rock, punk, and metal elements. The album's robust songwriting and authenticity garnered them a devoted fan base and positioned them as a force to be reckoned with in the rock scene.

Continuing their ascent, Burning Brides released a succession of albums that built upon their initial success. The powerful "Leave No Ashes" in 2004 further showcased their ability to craft compelling melodies with a hard-edged approach. The band exhibited a consistent evolution in their sound with "Anhedonia" in 2008 and "Hang Love" in 2007, proving their versatility and commitment to exploring the darker corners of rock music. The explosive single "Heart Full of Black," which gained widespread recognition after being featured in the video game Guitar Hero, solidified their place in the pantheon of modern rock. Despite lineup changes and the shifting landscape of the music industry, Burning Brides maintain their status as torchbearers of the fiery spirit that initially propelled them into the spotlight.
