Circle of Dust

Circle of Dust is an industrial rock project formed in the early 1990s by the versatile musician and producer Klayton, who is also known for his more recent projects such as Celldweller and Scandroid. The project was particularly influential in the 90s industrial metal scene combining elements of thrash metal, electronic music, and futuristic soundscapes. Circle of Dust's music was characterized by aggressive guitar riffs, complex programming, and dystopian lyrical themes. After releasing several pioneering albums, including a self-titled debut in 1992, "Brainchild," and "Disengage," the project was largely inactive by the end of the decade.

In 2016, Circle of Dust re-emerged as Klayton gained back the rights to the project's music. He embarked on re-releasing remastered editions of the classic Circle of Dust albums, as well as new material under the moniker. The project's sound has evolved, integrating modern electronic elements with its signature industrial roots. These newer remixes from various artists such as Aesthetic Perfection, Sebastian Komor, and Void Chapter, bring fresh perspectives to Circle of Dust's enduring tracks, ensuring that the project remains relevant to fans of industrial and electronic rock music even thirty years after its inception.
