Ava Casas

Ava Casas is the musical project of Venezuelan singer-songwriter and composer Álvaro Casas. He began his musical career in 2006 with the band "Cabeza," inspired by artists from MTV and Argentine rock. Later, he formed part of the band "Americania," which gained local prominence in Venezuela before disbanding in 2013. Álvaro Casas then embarked on a solo journey under the moniker Ava Casas, releasing music that reflects influences from Latin American Pop-Rock and pays homage to artists such as Jorge Drexler and Devendra Banhart. Some of his notable releases include "Salto de Fe," "Películas," "El Sillón," "Esperar Que Llueva," "Pasas Sobre Mi," "Viaje," and "Teatro" .

His music often captures themes that resonate with contemporary listeners, blending introspective and emotive narratives with catchy melodies. Ava Casas represents a personal evolution in Álvaro's career, showcasing his growth as a solo artist in the Venezuelan music scene.
