Supersubmarina is a Spanish indie rock band that originated from the small town of Baeza, in the province of Jaén, Spain. Formed in 2007, the band consists of José Chino (vocals and guitar), Jaime (guitar), Pope (bass), and Juanca (drums), whom together create a distinctive sound within the Spanish indie music scene. Gaining momentum in the Spanish music scene with their debut album "Electroviral" in 2010, Supersubmarina quickly established themselves as a prominent name in their genre. Following their initial success, the band went on to release several well-received records such as "Santacruz" in 2012 and "Viento de Cara" in 2014, which further solidified their status in the Spanish indie music landscape. Each of their albums showcases their evolution in sound and depth in songwriting. Despite facing a serious car accident in 2016, the band's influence and fanbase remain strong, and they continue to be celebrated for their significant contributions to the Spanish indie rock movement and their electrifying live performances.
