Trio Lepschi

Trio Lepschi is a Vienna-based band that was formed in 2010 by Stefan Slupetzky, Tomas Slupetzky, and Martin Zrost. The group specializes in performing Wienerlieder, traditional Viennese songs that often incorporate humor and dialect. Their music is characterized by witty lyrics and a blend of classic and contemporary elements. Over the years, the band has undergone a lineup change, with Michael Kunz joining in 2016 to replace Tomas Slupetzky. Trio Lepschi has released several albums, including "Mit links," "Z Tod gfiacht," "Warz und Schweiß," "In Himmö," and "Oleanda!" Their unique style and use of dialect have made them a notable part of Vienna's vibrant music scene.

Trio Lepschi's name is derived from the Viennese dialect phrase "lepschi gehen," meaning to stroll around or enjoy oneself. This reflects the band's approach to music, which is both entertaining and deeply rooted in Viennese culture. With their distinctive sound and engaging performances, Trio Lepschi continues to contribute to the rich musical heritage of Vienna.
