Chris Rivers

**Chris Rivers** is a Bronx-bred rapper and the son of the late hip-hop legend Big Pun. Born Christopher Lee Rios Jr. on November 15, 1993, Chris initially performed under the stage name Baby Pun before changing it to establish his own identity in the music world. He started his professional music career in 2002 as part of the group 3 Down and has since collaborated with major names in hip-hop including Wu-Tang Clan, The Lox, and Vinnie Paz. While comparisons to his father's style are inevitable—their rhyming flows share similarities—Chris has worked hard to earn recognition for his own talent and music.

Beyond the studio, Rivers has shown remarkable resilience and depth. He's a domestic violence survivor who once trained seriously as a boxer under legendary coach "Honey Boy" Lou del Valle, nearly qualifying for the Golden Gloves before health concerns intervened. His discography spans from *Wonderland of Misery* (2013) through more recent projects like *G.I.T.U.* (2019) and his 2025 collaborative release *Weight of Wings* with Montoya. Throughout his career, Chris has been focused on carving out his own path in hip-hop's underground scene while honoring his father's legacy—proving that he's much more than just Big Pun's son.
