TV Priest

TV Priest is a post-punk band that emerged from the UK's vibrant underground music scene with a raw and impassioned approach to modern rock. Formed in 2019, the quartet consists of vocalist Charlie Drinkwater, guitarist Alex Sprogis, bassist Nic Smith, and drummer Ed Kelland. Their music is characterized by sharp social commentary and an incisive wit, underpinned by a propulsive rhythm section and often discordant, but always arresting, guitar work.

The band gained a significant following with their debut album, "Uppers," released in 2021, which was met with critical acclaim for its bristling energy and cogent dissection of contemporary disillusionment. Their follow-up efforts, including tracks like "Lifesize," "Runner Up," and "House of York," showcase a continued refinement of their sound, as well as a commitment to confronting societal norms through their art. "Live in Seattle" captures the raw power of their stage presence, highlighting its role in solidifying their rapidly growing fanbase. In 2022, TV Priest further bolstered their discography and asserted their prominence in the post-punk conversation with "My Other People," solidifying their place among the most exciting current voices in the genre.
