Bridget Cunningham

Bridget Cunningham is a British-Irish harpsichordist, conductor, and musicologist specializing in music from the Baroque period. She is the Artistic Director of London Early Opera, a period orchestra and research group. Cunningham has had a distinguished education, studying at Southampton University, the Royal College of Music, and Trinity Laban. She was awarded a Junior Fellowship at the Royal College of Music and has performed at numerous international festivals and venues, including The Innsbruck Festival, St Martin-in-the-Fields, and Buckingham Palace for the Royal Family. Her performances often feature on BBC Radio and television programs.

Cunningham is known for her dynamic conducting style and her advocacy for directing period orchestras and singers from the harpsichord. She has released several notable albums, including "Handel’s Eight Great Harpsichord Suites" and "Handel in Ireland," and has edited and directed pioneering scores for London Early Opera. Her recent releases include works by Thomas Roseingrave and Handel, showcasing her expertise in Baroque music.
