**Music City** is the solo project of **Dublin-born, London-based** musician **Conor Lumsden**, who's also known for his work with Irish favorites **The Number Ones**. Their debut album, *Welcome to Music City*, dropped on February 6, 2026, via Redundant Span Records, packed with tracks like **"It's Alright," "Pretty Feelings," "Common Sense,"** and the festive single **"Only Home For Christmas"** – all channeling that raw excitement of rock'n'roll from Buddy Holly and The Beatles through T. Rex, Elton John, Big Star, and Tom Petty.

Lumsden's sound dives into classic 60s and 70s vibes with jangle guitars, baritone saxes, and a mix of heartbreak and holiday cheer, feeling like a lost gem from a charity shop compilation. The band hit the road right after the release with gigs across London, Sheffield, Manchester, Newcastle, Margate, and Dublin in February.
