Roger & Schu

Roger & Schu are a duo composed of Roger Manglus and Florian Schuster, formerly members of the German hip-hop band Blumentopf. Blumentopf, founded in 1992 in Freising, Germany, was known for their energetic live performances and distinctive style, which often blended humor with thoughtful lyrics. After Blumentopf disbanded in 2016, Roger & Schu began their own project, blending different eras of hip-hop styles, from 90s boombap to more contemporary influences. Their recent releases include titles like "Clap Your Fingers," showcasing their versatile approach to the genre.

Their work is particularly appreciated by hip-hop enthusiasts, as they seamlessly transition between different hip-hop eras while maintaining a unique sound. Roger & Schu's music often reflects their roots in 90s hip-hop, with a nod towards evolving trends in the genre. Despite their origins from Blumentopf, Roger & Schu are forging their own path with new material and a fresh perspective.
