DJ GrujA, real name Marko Grujicic, is a techno DJ and producer based in Belgrade, Serbia. He started making music at sixteen and quickly got drawn into the local techno and club scene, where he eventually began spinning tracks at underground venues with friends like Andreja Z and DJ Boza, forming the group BUG DJs. Since landing his first big break—with the track "Activated" included on Carl Cox’s landmark "Live at Dance Valley 2008" release—DJ GrujA has continued to establish himself on the Serbian and international electronic music scene, regularly releasing new music on labels such as Debuger (which he founded), Noise Planet Records, and Productos BMM. He’s played major clubs in Serbia and at events like the EXIT festival, and his style blends funky techno and Detroit influences with elements from funk, jazz, breakbeat, and guitar-based music.
Recently, tracks like "Love," "Soul," "8AM," "Cloudy Disco," and "Analogue Cynic" showcase DJ GrujA’s ongoing evolution, combining classic electronic energy with fresh production ideas. His approach is personal, seeking to reflect his emotions and thoughts through his music while steering clear of mainstream clichés.
