Rod Argent is a British keyboardist, singer, songwriter, and producer best known as a founding member of the legendary 1960s rock band The Zombies. With their distinctive sound, blending jazz, classical, and rock elements, The Zombies gained international fame with hits like "She's Not There," "Tell Her No," and the timeless classic "Time of the Season," which featured Argent’s signature keyboard work. Known for his melodic, classically-influenced keyboard style, Argent played a central role in shaping the band’s unique baroque pop sound.
After The Zombies originally disbanded in the late '60s, Argent went on to form his own band, Argent, which produced the rock anthem "Hold Your Head Up." In addition to performing, he has had a prolific career as a composer and producer, contributing to various musical projects across genres. In recent years, Argent has reunited with fellow Zombies co-founder Colin Blunstone for new recordings and tours, helping to keep the band’s enduring legacy alive.
